The fifth season of the Israeli drama "Fauda" has achieved the most successful premiere week in the show's history on Netflix, reaching fourth place globally among non-English language series. Official data from Netflix, reported by The Hollywood Reporter, shows the new season garnered 2.1 million views worldwide in its first week, translating to 15.9 million hours watched. This marks a new record for the Israeli action drama on the platform, surpassing its fourth season which peaked at seventh place in January 2023. The series ranked in the top ten in 41 countries, primarily in Europe and Asia.

Notably, the fifth season achieved the number one spot on Netflix's viewing charts in Lebanon, despite the sensitive subject matter and difficult events depicted. It also entered the top ten in several other Muslim and Arab nations, including Jordan (4th), the UAE and Qatar (5th), Oman (7th), and Kuwait (9th). European entertainment magazines have described the season as an "emotionally draining and shaking experience," praising the creators' courage in addressing raw issues.
