Eyal Berkovich's Son Pitches Duo to Rival Network's Show
Lior Berkovich, son of former footballer and TV personality Eyal Berkovich, has publicly suggested himself and his uncle Nir Berkovich as a potential contestant pair for the reality show "The Race to a Million." The suggestion came after a playful, somewhat barbed, text exchange between Lior and Nir was shared by Lior on Instagram.
What makes the proposal particularly noteworthy is the network affiliation: "The Race to a Million" airs on Channel 12 (Keshet), while Eyal Berkovich, Lior's father, currently works for the rival Channel 13 (Reshet). Eyal Berkovich left Keshet in late 2023 after his long-running show with Ofira Assayag concluded, subsequently moving to Channel 13.
Lior Berkovich is no stranger to television himself, having participated in "Gollstar" and appeared on various programs, while also maintaining a presence on social media and podcasts. His uncle, Nir Berkovich, is known in the football world as a coach, having managed several Israeli teams, including in the Premier League.
