Aylon Almog Joins Maccabi Netanya Before Transfer Window Closes
Midfielder Aylon Almog has signed with Maccabi Netanya for one season with an option for an additional year, just before the Israeli Premier League transfer window closed on Wednesday. Almog, who previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv and was loaned to MS Ashdod, struggled to establish himself as a key player. He will receive compensation from Hapoel Be'er Sheva, from whom he will be released for free.
In other transfer news, Hapoel Petah Tikva is reportedly close to signing Hapoel Be'er Sheva winger Roi Levi. Levi has also attracted interest from Kiryat Shmona, but he reportedly prefers joining Hapoel Petah Tikva due to financial differences with Kiryat Shmona.
