Netanyahu's US Trips Cost Over $1 Million in Flights Alone

Details have emerged regarding the significant costs associated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trips to the United States in the latter half of 2025. The information was released following a freedom of information request filed by the "Hatzlaha" organization, represented by attorney Elad Man.

The data primarily covers two major trips: a seven-day visit to New York and Washington in September 2025, and a six-day trip to Florida at the end of December 2025. During the September trip, Netanyahu stayed at the Loews Regency hotel, incurring a cost of $41,993. The air travel for this trip alone cost taxpayers $359,281.

In December, Netanyahu stayed in a luxury suite at the Four Seasons in Florida for five nights, costing $50,000. The flights for this trip were estimated at $423,407. The figures also include expenses for additional trips, such as a February visit where a suite cost 91,350 shekels and laundry and food expenses amounted to approximately 2,890 shekels.

Further details reveal a trip in April where the total cost was estimated at around 455,823 shekels, with 182,700 shekels spent on accommodation for three nights. This trip also included 22,000 shekels for makeup and hairstyling services. Another visit to Washington in July 2025 cost taxpayers approximately 1.2 million shekels, with some expenses, including Amazon purchases, withheld for alleged information security reasons.
