Netanyahu's US Travel Costs Revealed: Suites, Flights Total Millions

Ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's departure for the UN General Assembly in New York, the costs associated with his travel to the United States in the second half of 2025 have been disclosed. The figures were released following a freedom of information request filed by the non-profit organization Tzalcheha through attorney Elad Man.

The data primarily covers two trips by the Prime Minister, his entourage, and his wife Sara. The first, a seven-day journey in September 2025, included visits to New York and Washington D.C. During this trip, Netanyahu stayed at the Loews Regency hotel, incurring a cost of $41,993 (over NIS 127,000). Flight expenses for this trip alone amounted to $359,281 (over NIS 1 million).

The second trip, a six-day visit to Florida at the end of December 2025, saw Netanyahu staying in a suite at the luxury Four Seasons hotel for five nights at a cost of $50,000 (approximately NIS 151,600). Flight costs for this journey were estimated at $423,407 (over NIS 1.2 million).

Additional travel expenses are also detailed. In February, a suite cost NIS 91,350, with laundry and food expenses for the suite adding approximately NIS 2,890. A trip from April 5-8 incurred total travel costs of nearly NIS 455,823, with the hotel alone costing NIS 182,700 for three nights. Makeup and hair expenses for the Prime Minister during this trip were estimated at NIS 22,000.

A further visit to Washington D.C. in July 2025 cost taxpayers approximately NIS 1.2 million. Portions of this cost, including Amazon purchases, were redacted for information security reasons, as stated.
