MK Tally Gotliv Joins Celebrities at Eyal Golan Concert

Member of Knesset Tally Gotliv, who recently switched from the Likud party to Otzma Yehudit, was seen enjoying a concert by Israeli singer Eyal Golan at the Menora Mivtachim Arena on Tuesday night. Gotliv attended the event with her friend, attorney Tamar Arbel.

During the performance, Golan noticed Gotliv dancing in the crowd and came down from the stage to embrace her. Gotliv later shared a post on social media, expressing her excitement and describing the concert as a "huge performance that connects thousands of people from all walks of life with joy and emotion." She thanked Arbel for providing her with "moments of indescribable happiness and joy."

This event follows a similar incident last month when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara attended a concert by singer Eden Ben Zaken. That appearance drew criticism and calls for boycotting Ben Zaken, prompting Golan to defend her. He wrote that while disagreements are acceptable, the backlash was excessive, and urged for "gratuitous love, mutual respect, and the ability to disagree without hating each other," particularly during a time of division and pain.

The connection between Gotliv and Golan is further highlighted by the fact that Otzma Yehudit, the party Gotliv recently joined and led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, acquired the rights to use Golan's song "Mi SheMa'amin" (He Who Believes) for their election jingle. The party purchased the rights from the song's creators, writer Yossi Gispan and composer Adi Leon. The song's new rendition for the party features performances by ultra-Orthodox singer Ben Snuf and rapper Yoav "The Shadow" Eliasi.
