Ajax Starlet Oscar Gloukh Earns Praise After Stellar Performance

Israeli midfielder Oscar Gloukh was a standout performer for Ajax in their 5-1 victory over Willem II in a Dutch league makeup game on Tuesday. Gloukh, who started the match and played the full 90 minutes, scored his first league goal of the season and provided his third assist, contributing significantly to Ajax's dominant win. He was also named man of the match.

Gloukh's performance statistics highlighted his extensive involvement, including 83 accurate passes out of 90, six successful dribbles from eight attempts, and seven ground duels won out of eleven. He created two major scoring chances and was particularly effective in the opponent's half with 80 accurate passes out of 87.

After the game, Gloukh expressed satisfaction with the team's attacking approach, stating, "This is our plan and we are playing attacking football. We want to continue like this." He added, "It was a good game for me, but it's also thanks to the team, because everyone played very well."

Teammate Julian Brandt specifically praised Gloukh's play, noting his good actions, patience, and ability to create space. "He played great, got into some chances and eventually scored," Brandt said.
