Oscar Gloukh Shines in Ajax's Dominant 5-1 Victory

Israeli midfielder Oscar Gloukh played a pivotal role in Ajax's commanding 5-1 win against Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie on Wednesday, marking a significant return to the starting lineup. Gloukh, who has recently seen his playing time fluctuate between the bench and the starting eleven, delivered a standout performance, contributing a goal and an assist.

Gloukh was actively involved from the outset, creating chances and testing the opposing goalkeeper. Although not directly involved in Ajax's first two goals, scored by Davy Klaassen in the 41st minute and Julian Brandt in the 45th, his influence grew throughout the match.

In the second half, Gloukh continued to press, and his efforts were rewarded in the 65th minute when he set up Viktor Tsygankov for his first goal with Ajax, marking Gloukh's third assist of the league season. Gloukh then scored his own goal in the 74th minute, finishing a counter-attack by slotting the ball between the goalkeeper's legs for Ajax's fourth goal.
