Amcha Israel Candidate Pledges Support for Netanyahu Premiership

Netali Shem Tov, a candidate for the "Amcha Israel" party, has stated that her party will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister. In an interview on the "Ptihi Ve'shi" program, Shem Tov definitively ruled out the possibility of her party joining a government led by Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Lieberman, or Gadi Eisenkot.

Shem Tov asserted that not everyone aspiring to be prime minister is capable of forming and leading the next government. She specifically criticized Avigdor Lieberman, calling his past decision to form a government with the Ra'am party for political leverage a "grave mistake," and declared that such a possibility is now off the table.

Shem Tov also addressed parties identifying as right-wing that continue to boycott the national camp, urging them to "come to their senses and return home." When directly pressed by the interviewers about who "Amcha Israel" would recommend for prime minister and whether they would support Benjamin Netanyahu, she initially evaded a direct answer. However, under pressure from the hosts demanding a clear response, she explicitly stated, "Here, I said it, we will recommend Netanyahu."
