Am Echad Party Declares Support for Netanyahu as Prime Minister

The Israeli party 'Am Echad' (All of Israel) has unequivocally stated its position ahead of the elections, declaring Benjamin Netanyahu as the leader of the right-wing bloc and their preferred candidate for prime minister. Netali Shem Tov, a candidate for the party, emphasized in a radio interview that their faction supports Netanyahu because they are part of the right-wing camp and believe that the changes they wish to advance cannot be achieved with the left-wing opposition.

Shem Tov launched a sharp critique of opposition leaders, explaining why cooperation with them is impossible. She specifically mentioned Benny Gantz, stating he refuses to rule out the establishment of a Palestinian state and struggles to differentiate between individuals like Yosef Haddad and Mansour Abbas. She also criticized Gantz's stance on allowing Gazan workers into Israel, adding that progress with Yair Golan or Mansour Abbas is not feasible.

Furthermore, Shem Tov addressed Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, criticizing his past political moves, particularly his decision to leave the right-wing bloc and ally with the Islamist party Ra'am. She asserted that Lieberman is also unfit to be the next prime minister.

Concluding her remarks, Shem Tov called for the formation of a stable right-wing government and warned against actions that could dismantle the bloc. She urged an end to personal political subversion and backroom deals, referencing the previous government led by Naftali Bennett as a cautionary tale. She expressed hope for the broadest possible right-wing government to be established.
