Guide to Building a Kosher Sukkah Released Ahead of Sukkot Holiday

As the Sukkot holiday approaches, Rabbi Avichai Ketzin has published a practical guide detailing the laws for constructing a kosher Sukkah, complete with illustrations. Rabbi Ketzin, head of the Beit Midrash 'Reishit,' emphasizes that while a beautiful and spacious Sukkah is desirable, its primary importance lies in its adherence to Jewish law for fulfilling the mitzvah (commandment).

Thousands of families across Israel are preparing to build their Sukkot, retrieving materials from storage and hanging decorations. Rabbi Ketzin's guide aims to clarify the essential halachic (Jewish legal) requirements for Sukkah construction, addressing common questions families encounter during the building process.
