Beitar Jerusalem Owner to Address Captain Shua After Social Media Post

Beitar Jerusalem owner Barak Abramov is expected to speak with team captain Yarden Shua following a social media post Shua shared. The post, which was later deleted, stated, "Enough with the ego games, Yarden Shua must play 90 minutes every game." Abramov intends to clarify the club's stance on the incident.

Abramov has historically served as a mediator between the professional staff and Shua and is known for his ability to handle such situations. However, similar to incidents last season, he plans to address the captain's behavior directly.

Sources within Beitar Jerusalem acknowledge that while Shua deleted the video, the incident was not minor and has sparked discussion among players. A club official commented, "We know how to move past events like these with Yarden, but we also cannot simply ignore this. The team is what's important, as is his responsibility as captain."

Shai Zuarz, chairman of the Israel Football Association and Shua's father-in-law, also spoke with the player in an effort to de-escalate the situation and encourage Shua to return to proper conduct.
