Rebbeim Celebrate Rosh Hashanah Across Israel, Attend Events

Numerous Hasidic rebbes marked the Rosh Hashanah holiday with their followers across Israel, engaging in prayer, communal meals, and celebratory gatherings. The Rebbe of Lelov spent the holiday in Jerusalem, holding prayers and "tish" (communal meals) in a rented hall on Shimon HaTzadik Street, adhering to the dynasty's tradition of celebrating in the capital.

In Bnei Brak, the Rebbe of Vizhnitz Jerusalem, visiting from the US, paid respects at the graves of Vizhnitz rebbes and visited the Rebbe of Mahnovka Belz. The Rebbe of Slonim met with Rabbi Moshe Tzadka in Jerusalem, discussing the opposition to mandatory IDF conscription for yeshiva students and praising the firm stance of Sephardic rabbis.

New prayer houses were inaugurated, including a Nadborna Hasidic study hall in Jerusalem, where the Rebbe led prayers and danced. The Rebbe of Pinsk Karlin held a "Hatarat Nedarim" (annulment of vows) ceremony and a "tish" in Jerusalem, while thousands of Tolded Abraham Isaac Hasidim gathered in Jerusalem for Rosh Hashanah prayers and a "tish" led by their Rebbe.

Other celebrations included the Rebbe of Seret Vizhnitz participating in a "chalaka" (first haircut) ceremony for his great-grandchildren in Haifa, and the Rebbe of Vizhnitz visiting his brother-in-law, the Rebbe of Belz, in Jerusalem. The Rebbe of Vizhnitz was also discharged from Hadassah Medical Center after a successful cardiac procedure, and the Rebbe of Modzitz underwent a cardiac catheterization.

Hasidic communities in Bnei Ayov, Bnei Brak, and Haifa held large gatherings. The Rebbe of Bnei Ayov celebrated Rosh Hashanah in Borough Park, Brooklyn, with special galleries for children. The Rebbe of Satmar Williamsburg held a "Hatarat Nedarim" ceremony, and the Rebbe of Skver also held a "Hatarat Nedarim" ceremony.
