Air Canada Suspends Flight Attendant Over Antisemitic Posts
Air Canada has suspended a senior flight attendant, identified as Blair Boudreau, following allegations of antisemitic posts and content encouraging violence on social media. Boudreau held a position responsible for cabin crew and passenger service during flights.
The airline confirmed the suspension and stated that a full investigation is underway. A spokesperson for Air Canada declared, "Air Canada condemns hate speech and the promotion of violence of any kind. The individual has been removed from service, and a full investigation is ongoing. We have no further comment at this time."
This incident follows a previous case where Air Canada suspended and later fired a Boeing 787 pilot for extremist posts against Israel. The current suspension was revealed just one day after Air Canada announced it would accelerate its return to Israel, resuming flights to Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on November 30, earlier than the previously scheduled January 17. The airline plans to operate four weekly flights to Tel Aviv during the winter season.
