Maccabi Petah Tikva Disappointed After Loss to Beitar Jerusalem
Maccabi Petah Tikva expressed disappointment following their 3-1 defeat to Beitar Jerusalem on Tuesday. "Beitar is a better team, no doubt, but we conceded naive goals and created quite a few chances, where decision-making wasn't good either," a source within the club stated. "It's a shame we weren't sharper and less naive."
Maccabi Petah Tikva is not expected to sign any new players before the transfer window closes today. However, defender Omer Shirley is set to leave for the National League. Shirley has two offers, one from Bnei Yehuda and another from Ramat HaSharon, who are reportedly willing to pay a substantial fee. Ashdod had also shown interest.
Additionally, Yuval Karatzo has been loaned to Hapoel Acre, and Mohamed Hindi will depart if he finds a new team before the transfer deadline. Hindi is not in coach Ziv Arie's professional plans.
