Adama CFO Efrat Negar Departs After 22 Years; Sami Leibovich to Succeed

Adama, a global crop protection solutions provider, announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Efrat Negar, will be leaving the company to pursue new professional opportunities after more than two decades of service. Negar, who has held the CFO position since 2023 and was part of the global management team for the past five years, progressed through various senior management roles during her tenure.

Gal Hirsh, President and CEO of Adama, praised Negar's significant contributions, stating she was instrumental in shaping strategic decisions and strengthening the company's financial resilience. He highlighted her professionalism, deep commitment, effective leadership, and pursuit of excellence, noting her profound impact on the organization's development.

Negar expressed pride and appreciation for her time at Adama, acknowledging the achievements and the people she worked with, and wished the company continued success. She stated she was leaving with a strong desire to see Adama continue to thrive.

In a related move, Adama announced that Sami Leibovich will be appointed as the new CFO, succeeding Negar. Leibovich is set to assume his new role on October 1, 2026, and will join Adama's global management team. He returns to Adama from its parent company, Syngenta Group, where he currently serves as Global Head of Performance Acceleration, reporting directly to the CEO and working on strategic initiatives.

Leibovich previously spent over 13 years at Adama in various senior management positions across finance, business development, and product strategy, most recently leading the implementation of the 'Fight Forward' strategy. Hirsh welcomed Leibovich back, emphasizing his deep understanding of Adama and its people, combined with his extensive financial and strategic background, as key assets for leading the company's finance division and advancing its business objectives.
