Five-Year-Old Girl Suffers Moderate Injuries in Hit-and-Run Incident in Sakhnin
A five-year-old girl sustained moderate injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the city of Sakhnin on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred while the child was walking as a pedestrian.
Magen David Adom's emergency dispatch center received a report of the accident at approximately 4:07 PM. Medical teams and paramedics were dispatched to the scene and provided initial treatment to the injured girl.
She was urgently transported by ambulance to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for further treatment. Medical personnel determined she had sustained injuries and bruises to her head and limbs.
Traffic police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident to determine its cause and to apprehend the driver involved for questioning.
