Maccabi Tel Aviv Sells Nearly All Season Tickets Ahead of New Season
Maccabi Tel Aviv announced Tuesday that it has sold nearly all of its season tickets for the upcoming basketball season, with the club's CEO, Avi Ben-Tal, stating they are "a stone's throw from a sold-out" stadium. The club has sold over 9,250 season tickets, a number Ben-Tal described as a sign of the fans' complete trust in the team. He also highlighted improvements to the game-day experience and the clearing of all outstanding obligations to fans stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing the club to start the season with a "clean slate."
The current season tickets are valid for all Israeli Basketball Premier League home games, including potential playoff quarterfinal series. Season ticket holders will receive priority for upgrading to a combined ticket package when EuroLeague games return to Israel, as well as priority for purchasing tickets to key non-league games throughout the season.
