Sderot Strengthens Child Support Programs Post-October 7
The Sderot Municipality hosted representatives from the national "360" program for at-risk children and youth for a working meeting focused on enhancing support services for the city's young residents and their families. The meeting highlighted the expanded inter-ministerial partnership that has significantly strengthened since the October 7th attacks.
Municipal and national teams are collaborating to provide comprehensive emotional, social, and educational support tailored to the needs of Sderot's youth and parents as they navigate current challenges. Officials from the municipality's education and welfare departments presented ongoing projects during the visit.
The Sderot Municipality expressed gratitude to the "360" program leadership for their close guidance. Special commendation was given to Yaffa Melese Vedu, the program's director in Sderot, for her dedicated and professional leadership in ensuring the well-being of the city's children and families.
