Kiryat Malakhi Celebrates Sukkot With Diverse Family Events
Kiryat Malakhi is set to host a series of Sukkot holiday events organized by the municipality and the Magshimim Center, running from Sunday, September 27th, through the end of the holiday. The program aims to offer a blend of culture, sports, nature, and family entertainment for all ages.
The festivities commence on Sunday, September 27th, at 11:00 AM with a free performance titled "Nati Hageati Hofeati" at the Magshimim amphitheater. Later that day, at 4:00 PM, the community forest will host a free family activity featuring ODT stations, craft workshops, pita baking, and tea preparation.
On Tuesday, September 29th, starting at 9:30 AM, the Magshimim Center will hold a "Champions Day" with open championships in chess, checkers, and FIFA Master. During the intermediate days of the holiday, September 30th and October 1st, a large water party with inflatables, a ninja course, a soft play area, and a foam cannon will take place in two sessions daily (10:00 AM-1:00 PM and 2:00 PM-5:00 PM). The subsidized price for Kiryat Malakhi residents is NIS 25, while non-residents will pay NIS 50.
Further activities include a free "Experiences from the Bible" workshop on Thursday, October 1st, at 10:00 AM at the Magshimim Center, featuring four activity zones with shofars, a display of the Four Species, incense, and drums. The holiday events will conclude with a unified Hakafot Shniyot (Second Hakafot) celebration on Saturday evening, October 3rd, at 8:45 PM in front of the City Hall, featuring performances by singers Itzik Eshal, Avia Sherman, and Zevulun Natonov. Admission to this event is also free.
