Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Major Sponsorship Deal with Arka Network
Hapoel Jerusalem Football Club has announced a new sponsorship agreement with Arka Network, a leading Israeli wholesaler and importer of electrical and lighting equipment, set to begin with the 2026/27 season. This partnership will see Arka's logo prominently displayed on the senior team's official match jerseys and on signage at Teddy Stadium during Premier League games. The deal also includes Arka's involvement in the club's community initiatives throughout the season.
The collaboration highlights a local connection, as Arka operates two branches in Jerusalem, serving electricians, public institutions, businesses, and private customers in the city and surrounding areas. Representatives from Hapoel Jerusalem, including CEO Uri Sheretzky and captain Omer Agbadish, visited the Arka branch in Talpiot to discuss future plans with Arka's CEO Michael Rabinovich, co-owner Amir Cohen, and staff. A toast for the new year was held, and Arka representatives are expected to be honored guests at upcoming matches.
This sponsorship aligns with Hapoel Jerusalem's operational model as the first sports club in Israel founded and managed by its fans. The team is entering its sixth consecutive season in the Premier League and maintains a youth department with a focus on gender equality, including a women's team that has won the Israeli championship. The club also runs extensive community programs, engaging over 1,000 participants across approximately 70 teams, including neighborhood leagues, integrated groups for adults and children with and without disabilities, a program for at-risk youth, and therapeutic sports activities.
Michael Rabinovich stated that Arka chose to partner with Hapoel Jerusalem because the club is "much more than a team" and uses football as a tool for connection across diverse populations. He emphasized Arka's commitment to Jerusalem and its belief that strong businesses should be connected to their communities. Uri Sheretzky expressed gratitude to Arka for their sponsorship, pledging that the club would continue its unique community and city-focused work to justify their trust.
