Vizhnitz Hassidic Dynasty Celebrates Rosh Hashanah with Thousands of Guests
Thousands of guests from around the world gathered at the Vizhnitz Hassidic court for Rosh Hashanah services and celebrations, marking the Jewish New Year 5787. Attendees participated in the "Zechor Brit" Selichot prayers on the eve of the holiday and heard a new march for the year sung by a choir in the Rebbe's chamber.
During the holiday, many international guests received blessings from the Rebbe for the new year. A notable moment occurred when activist Yossef Aryeh Katz from the United States presented the Rebbe with a rare prayer book belonging to the previous Vizhnitz Rebbe, Rabbi Mordechai Hager, known as the "Emek Chaim."
