Toddler Hospitalized After Scalding Incident in Yeruham

An infant approximately two years old was taken to a local clinic in Yeruham on Tuesday afternoon after suffering burns from boiling water. MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical services received the report at 12:36 PM and dispatched paramedics to the scene. The child, in moderate condition with burns to the upper body, was transported by ambulance to Soroka Hospital.

The incident occurred in Yeruham, a town in the Negev region of southern Israel. The exact circumstances leading to the child being scalded are still under investigation, but initial reports indicate contact with boiling water.
