Two-Year-Old Toddler Suffers Moderate Burns from Hot Water in Beit Shemesh Home

A two-year-old toddler was burned by hot water that spilled on him at his home in Ramat Beit Shemesh G on Monday morning. Rescue teams arrived promptly, providing initial medical aid before transporting the child to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. His condition is reported as moderate.

Moshe Siruka and Shmuel Rozenberg, paramedics from United Hatzalah who first reached the scene, stated that the burns affected the lower part of the toddler's body. They administered first aid before the child was taken for further treatment at the hospital.

Senior medic Yehoshua Gottlieb from Hatzalah added that upon arrival with an ambulance staffed by Magen David Adom personnel, the toddler was fully conscious but had second-degree burns on both upper and lower limbs. Family members confirmed the burns resulted from hot water spilling on the child. The medical team stabilized him and transferred him in stable condition to Hadassah Ein Kerem for continued care.
