Producer Indicted for Threatening, Extorting News Anchor Adva Dadon

Producer Udi Eilon has been indicted on serious charges including threats, extortion, harassment, and invasion of privacy against Channel 12 news anchor Adva Dadon. The indictment details a prolonged campaign of intimidation that began after Dadon sought to end their business and personal relationship.

According to the indictment, Eilon repeatedly attempted to force Dadon back into contact, threatening her career, livelihood, and reputation. He allegedly appeared at her workplaces and contacted her professional associates. The prosecution claims Eilon even involved Dadon's 6-year-old daughter in his pressure tactics, sending messages like "I can't live without you and your child" and "All my craziness is because you are far from me."

The relationship reportedly began in May 2023, with Dadon covering expenses for a joint production while Eilon handled the production itself. A friendship developed, leading Eilon to meet Dadon's daughter. The alleged harassment escalated in June 2025 when Eilon, dissatisfied with Dadon's attention, began sending threatening WhatsApp messages. Despite Dadon's attempts to end the relationship, Eilon intensified his behavior, sending more messages, visiting her workplaces, and threatening to contact senior media executives to force her to resume contact.

Numerous messages detailed in the indictment show Eilon's escalating threats, including promises to "make you feel my wrath," to "eradicate the human evil within you," and to "end your career." He also threatened to expose her and make her colleagues uncomfortable. Eilon allegedly continued his harassment even after Dadon obtained a temporary restraining order in December 2025, violating the order by posting on social media and contacting her acquaintances. The indictment further alleges he continued these actions even after a permanent order was issued, including sending a video of Dadon to a third party and hiring a private investigator.

The indictment culminates with an incident in February 2026 during a police confrontation, where Eilon allegedly told Dadon, "You don't know how dangerous I am." The charges include multiple counts of extortion by threat, threats, violation of a court order, harassment via telecommunication devices, and invasion of privacy, all aimed at forcing Dadon to maintain a relationship with him under threat to her person, freedom, livelihood, and reputation.
