Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the killing of four fighters in combat in southern Lebanon, saying Israel will not tolerate attacks on its soldiers or on its territory.
He said Israel will make Hezbollah “pay a very heavy price” for those attacks. Netanyahu added that, as he made clear “unequivocally,” including the day before, Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to protect communities in the north.
