U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social that the American military had rescued more than 100 million barrels of oil from ships sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. "Last month I directed the military to carry out a secret mission in support of oil tankers and other commercial vessels. More than 200 commercial ships passed safely through the strait, this successful effort stems from the fact that the United States of America controls Hormuz, not Iran. Their military is defeated, and their economy is lost."
