Polish media reported on Friday that Ben Lederman may leave Maccabi Tel Aviv after only one season and return to Poland, where newly promoted Wieczysta Krakow is interested in signing him.
Lederman, 26, joined Maccabi Tel Aviv last July as a free agent after being released by Rakow. He has struggled to secure a regular place in the squad, making 18 appearances in all competitions this season.
Most of his minutes came in the Europa League and Champions League qualifying rounds. In the Israeli Premier League, he played only four matches and totaled 75 minutes.
Wieczysta Krakow is rebuilding ahead of its first season back in the top flight and reportedly released 12 players from last season. Its coach is Kazimierz Moskal, who previously played in Israel for Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ironi Ashdod.
