Three Yeshiva Students Burned by Boiling Water Urn in Bnei Brak

Three students in their 20s from the Ponevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak sustained burns to their hands and legs after a boiling water urn spilled on them. The incident occurred within the yeshiva complex on Monday evening as the fast of Gedalia concluded.

Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene on Aba Grossbard Street. They provided initial treatment to the three young men, who were then evacuated to a burn clinic in the city for further medical attention. Their conditions are reported as stable.

A United Hatzalah volunteer, Aharon Lerer, described the event, stating, "I was told that a boiling water urn spilled on them, and as a result, they were burned on their hands and legs. I provided them with medical treatment at the scene and then evacuated them for further medical care, with their conditions stable."

This incident follows a series of similar burn cases involving children and toddlers in the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community in recent months. Previous incidents include a two-year-old burned by boiling water in בית שמש in August, another toddler in רכסים burned by a Shabbat urn in July, and a similar case in ביתר עילית during the preparations for Passover.
