Six-Year-Old Girl Suffers Burns After Hot Water Kettle Spills in Bnei Brak
A six-year-old girl was moderately injured on Saturday afternoon in Bnei Brak when a hot water kettle spilled on her. The incident occurred on Rabbi Brut Street, where the boiling water caused burns to her face, limbs, and back.
United Hatzalah medics provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting her by ambulance to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer for further care. Yosef Baruchin, the on-duty medic and ambulance driver, reported that the girl sustained burns on multiple body parts and was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.
United Hatzalah issued a warning urging the public to keep hot water kettles and electric kettles out of children's reach and to ensure that their power cords are not accessible to toddlers to prevent similar accidents.
