Netanyahu Warns Enemies of Harsher Response if Attacked Again
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video statement on Monday, referencing a Lebanese reporter's acknowledgment of Israeli success in southern Lebanon. The reporter, from MTV Lebanon, stated that footage released by the IDF, showing the destruction of a ridge, indicated the end of a 'terror project' on the mountain.
Netanyahu paused the clip to explain the reporter's comment, attributing it to what he called a "huge victory" over Hezbollah. He specified that Israel had destroyed Hezbollah's "major terror fortress" on the Beaufort and Ali Taher ridges.
The Prime Minister reiterated Israel's policy, stating, "We will continue to destroy the terror infrastructure in the security zone in Lebanon. We will continue to remove any threat to the State of Israel."
Concluding his message, Netanyahu issued a direct warning to Israel's adversaries: "If you have not learned the lesson until now, and you decide to attack us again, you will suffer even heavier blows. There is still work to be done, and God willing, we will complete it."
