Netanyahu Declares Major Hezbollah Stronghold Destroyed in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a significant operational success against Hezbollah, stating that Israeli forces have destroyed a major stronghold of the group in Lebanon. In a video released by his office, Netanyahu declared, "We have destroyed its main terrorist stronghold on the heights of Beaufort and Ali Taher." He emphasized that Israel's operations against Hezbollah infrastructure within Lebanon's security zone will continue. "Our policy is clear: we will continue to destroy terrorist infrastructure located in the security zone in Lebanon. We will continue to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel," he asserted.

Netanyahu also issued a stern warning to Israel's adversaries, threatening more severe retaliation if attacked again. "If you still haven't learned your lesson and decide to attack us again, you will suffer even heavier strikes. There is still work to be done and, with God's help, we will complete it," he concluded. The announcement comes as the Israeli legislative elections are 47 days away, with questions arising about the potential impact of political developments on Netanyahu's strategy.
