MK Tally Gottlieb Slams IDF Spokesperson Over Film Accusations

Member of Knesset Tally Gottlieb expressed outrage on Monday over the IDF Spokesperson's response to a film titled "Nez'a," which she claims portrays the Israeli military as committing war crimes. The film was created by two Israeli artists.

Earlier on Monday, IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Efi Dofin had invited the filmmakers to allow IDF representatives to view the full film. Dofin stated, "To enable a substantive, professional, and fact-based discussion, and not to settle for misrepresentations, I invite the filmmakers to allow IDF representatives to watch the full film, so that we can address each of the claims raised in it substantively."

In response, Gottlieb vehemently criticized the IDF Spokesperson's reaction, calling it "delusional and despicable." She argued that the IDF Spokesperson's request to watch the film before responding was "stupid" and that the appropriate response should have been to label the film's claims as "delusional, malicious, and baseless lies" to protect the nation and the IDF's resilience.

Gottlieb declared, "I wouldn't leave the IDF Spokesperson in his position for a minute." She insisted that the IDF Spokesperson's response should have immediately refuted the film's content as false and harmful.
