Weapons Seized, 22 Arrested in Negev Town Raid
Police and Border Police forces conducted a large-scale raid in the Negev town of Ar'arat an-Naqab over the weekend, targeting blood feuds and domestic violence. The operation resulted in the discovery of an M-16 assault rifle hidden underground, a pistol, a homemade weapon, along with magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
The raids also led to the arrest of 22 suspects from the town, including four women suspected of stone-throwing. One individual was apprehended for violating home arrest conditions, and others were detained in connection with recent shooting incidents.
Police confirmed that all seized items and detainees have been transferred for investigation. They also stated that their campaigns to enhance security in the region will continue.
