Channel 12 Appoints New Technology Correspondent
Channel 12's news division has appointed Adar Gitzis as its new technology correspondent. Gitzis, originally from Nahariya, began his media career at a young age, holding youth public roles and participating in youth radio programs. He later served in the Israel Defense Forces' radio station, Galei Tzahal, where he worked in production, editing, and reporting, including covering the war in Ukraine.
Following his military service, Gitzis joined Channel 12's news company in 2022 as the correspondent for Haifa and the Galilee. During this time, he closely covered security events in the north and became a prominent face reporting on the northern front during the recent war. He subsequently transitioned to covering police and crime, focusing on investigations and arrests.
His new role as technology correspondent marks a new professional chapter for Gitzis, who is currently identified with crime reporting at the news company.
