Or Blorian, a 26-year-old defender for the Israeli national soccer team and Major League Soccer's Kansas City, was released from the hospital on the eve of a holiday after undergoing emergency heart catheterization. Blorian, a key player in Hapoel Be'er Sheva's championship win last season, will be sidelined for the remainder of the current season.

Blorian described experiencing weakness, dizziness, and severe chest pain during training sessions leading up to the procedure. Initially attributing his symptoms to poor fitness, he eventually insisted on being examined by team medical staff due to an unusual feeling. "I insisted on getting checked out because I know my body. It was a frightening sensation, I've never felt like this before," he stated.

Following comprehensive tests that revealed abnormal findings, Blorian was hospitalized overnight. Early the next morning, he underwent a diagnostic catheterization that quickly turned into a treatment procedure. Doctors discovered a significant blockage in an artery, necessitating the intervention. Blorian believes his insistence on prompt medical attention saved his life, calling his survival with a blocked artery during intense physical activity a "clear miracle."

Despite missing the rest of the season, his MLS club confirmed he will remain in the United States with his wife and parents, who traveled from Israel.
