Tamir Blatt Injury Raises Concerns for Maccabi Tel Aviv
Concern in Maccabi Tel Aviv: the guard was injured at the start of the second game against Hapoel Holon and will undergo imaging, Sport 5 reported.
Maccabi Tel Aviv took a big lead today, Wednesday, against Hapoel Holon, but early on Tamir Blatt was injured and left the game. The guard, who starred in the first game, felt a sharp pain in his calf muscle and will not return after scoring two points in seven minutes.
The guard, whose contract expires in the summer, will undergo imaging tomorrow. Blatt scored 20 points with 12 assists in the first game against Holon, one of his best games this season and among the most important players for Maccabi Tel Aviv. This season he has averaged 9.6 points and 4.5 assists per game in the Premier League, along with 39.3% from beyond the arc.
The third game between the teams will take place on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Premier League basketball.
