Kats says Blatt will miss Game 4 as Maccabi Tel Aviv chases the championship
After losing Game 3 to Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Tel Aviv will get another chance to clinch the Israeli championship when it visits Hapoel on Tuesday in Game 4 of the series. Coach Oded Katash said the team still holds a good position and believes it should try to secure the title on the road.
“We are in a good position in the series and need to win the championship tomorrow away from home,” Katash said. “It is no harder than winning twice away, which we have already done. Being disappointed is legitimate and fine. This is the first chance we have had in the playoffs to respond to a loss. We will find the strength to come and fight. We are playing against a team with quality. We will need to focus on the things we can control.”
