Bnei Sakhnin Strengthens Squad, Eyes First Win Against Hapoel Haifa
Bnei Sakhnin is actively reinforcing its squad, reportedly in talks with Itamar Shviro, a forward from Ironi Tiberias, and former player Sahar Tajji, who was released by Maccabi Netanya and can sign even after the transfer window closes on Wednesday. Right-back Liruy Owusu, whose agreement was previously reported, will be gradually integrated into the team as he hasn't played officially in four months.
On Monday evening, the team will face Hapoel Haifa, aiming for their first victory of the season. Manager Yossi Abukasis is expected to make a single change to the lineup that started against Beitar Jerusalem. Uri Dahan will debut for Sakhnin, starting at center-back in place of Iyad Abu Abid. Ahmed Salman will continue on the right wing, with Matthew Kodjo, Basel Khoury, Antonio Spohr, and Ilai Hajjaj featuring in the forward positions. Amit Karadi, who missed the final training session due to a pre-arranged holiday, is expected to start.
The projected starting lineup includes Raul Barbero; Ahmed Salman, Maron Gantos, Uri Dahan, Amit Karadi; Modestos Vorobey, Ilai Hajjaj, Antonio Spohr; Matthew Kodjo, and Basel Khoury.
