Uri Dahan to Debut for Sakhnin Against Hapoel Haifa in Search of First Win
Bnei Sakhnin is reportedly in negotiations to strengthen its squad, considering moves for Itamar Shviro, a striker from Ironi Tiberias, and Sahar Tajji, a former player released from Maccabi Netanya who can still be signed after the transfer window closed. Right-back Leroy Owusu, whose agreement with the club was previously reported, will be gradually integrated into the team due to not having played competitively for about four months.
On Monday evening, Sakhnin will face Hapoel Haifa, aiming for their first victory of the season. Coach Yossi Abuksis is expected to make a single change to the lineup that started against Beitar Jerusalem. Uri Dahan is set to make his debut for Sakhnin, starting at center-back in place of Iyad Abu Abid. Ahmed Salman will continue on the right wing, with Matthew Kodjo, Basel Khoury, Antonio Spósito, and Ilai Hajjaj expected to feature in the forward positions. Amit Karadi, who missed the final training session due to a pre-arranged holiday, is slated to start.
The projected starting lineup includes Raul Barbeiro; Ahmed Salman, Maron Gantos, Uri Dahan, Amit Karadi; Modestos Vorobeyev, Ilai Hajjaj, Antonio Spósito; Matthew Kodjo, and Basel Khoury.
