Bnei Sakhnin Aims to Strengthen Squad Before Transfer Window Closes

Bnei Sakhnin, having secured only one point from their first three matches this season, is actively working to bolster its roster before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday. The club is prioritizing reinforcements to improve performance and results.

Key targets include Hapoel Be'er Sheva's winger Yoni Stoyanov, with whom an agreement in principle has been reached. However, Stoyanov has informed the club he has other offers and will make a final decision closer to the deadline. Concurrently, Sakhnin is in talks with another Hapoel Be'er Sheva player, Ro'i Levi, a right winger who could provide depth. The club believes one of these two players will join.

Additionally, Bnei Sakhnin is considering signing striker Itamar Shviro from Ironi Tiberias, who has been told he can seek a new team. This would mark a potential reunion with coach Yossi Abuksis, under whom Shviro previously played at Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Netanya.

With only six foreign players currently on the roster, Sakhnin is exploring the possibility of adding a seventh, contingent on their success in signing Israeli players. The team is preparing for its upcoming league match against Hapoel Haifa on Monday, aiming for their first win of the season. Defender Uri Dahan is expected to be available and start, while Romanian forward Daniel Parsky will miss the game due to injury.
