New Signings Guni Naor and Arik Yanko May Debut for Hapoel Ramat Gan

Hapoel Ramat Gan, seeking their first points of the season, will host Maccabi Netanya on Thursday evening. The newly promoted club announced the signing of midfielder Guni Naor from Maccabi Haifa. Naor, who trained with the team twice, is in playing shape and could be available for coach Massai Dego, provided his registration is completed in time.

Goalkeeper Arik Yanko, released earlier this season from Maccabi Yafo, may also be included in the squad. Yanko joined last week to serve as backup for young goalkeeper Amit Reif and could debut if his registration is finalized.

Without the injured Maxim Faltuschenko, Dego is expected to make changes to the lineup that lost to Hapoel Tel Aviv. Christopher Boniface and Marius Novais are contenders for starting spots. Hapoel Ramat Gan impressed in the Toto Cup but has zero points after three league matches.

Separately, Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Ion Nicolaescu is expected to sign with Hapoel Ramat Gan before the transfer window closes on Wednesday. The Moldovan forward is anticipated to return to play in November.

A potential starting lineup includes Amit Reif; Noam Schwartz, Marcio Silva, Jota, Pard Ibrahim; Serjan Mihajlovic, Christopher Boniface, Ido Oly (Moshe Samel); Matan Hozez (Marius Novais), David Esenka, and Luan Campos.
