Israeli Goalie Elias Eliazi Shines in Greek League Draw
Israeli goalkeeper Niv Elias Eliazi was instrumental in Levadiakos securing their first point of the Greek Super League season, earning the highest player rating in Sunday's 0-0 draw against Kifisia.
Eliazi, returning to the starting lineup, made three crucial saves to prevent Levadiakos from conceding after they had let in eight goals in their previous three matches. He completed 12 of 24 passes and was awarded a rating of 7.2, the best on his team.
The draw places Levadiakos at the bottom of the league standings, but only one point separates them from tenth place. Their next match before the international break is against a strong Olympiacos side, which has accumulated seven points so far this season.
