Niv Eliasi Joins Greek Club Levadiakos on Loan from Hapoel Be'er Sheva

Israeli goalkeeper Niv Eliasi has signed with Greek club Levadiakos on loan from Hapoel Be'er Sheva, with the Greek team holding a one million euro purchase option. Eliasi is expected to earn 300,000 euros per season during his loan spell. Once considered one of Israel's top goalkeeper prospects, Eliasi served as Be'er Sheva's first-choice goalkeeper for most recent seasons but lost his starting position to Ofir Marciano near the end of last season.

Be'er Sheva recently signed Marco Wolf from Maccabi Petah Tikva, further reducing Eliasi's chances of regaining his spot. Eliasi's last appearance for Be'er Sheva was in the final game of the previous season against Maccabi Haifa, a match played mainly for protocol as Marciano was rested ahead of the State Cup final.

Levadiakos currently features several Israeli players, including Hisham Layous, Joel Abu Hanna, and former Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Haifa player Alan Ozbolt. Eliasi's move may mark a new chapter outside the Israeli Premier League as he seeks more playing time abroad.
