Maccabi Tel Aviv Guard Yam Madar Injured in Final Pre-Season Game
Maccabi Tel Aviv may have suffered a significant blow just before the Super Cup game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, as guard Yam Madar sustained a leg injury in the final minute of their last pre-season match. The team lost 77-72 to Olympiacos. With 54 seconds left on the clock, Madar collided with Olympiacos player Amba Embaie, resulting in an injury to his own leg.
Madar was seen on the court in pain before walking off with a limp to the bench. Although he did not go to the locker room, he did not return to the game and received treatment from the medical staff courtside. The extent of his injury is currently unknown, but the timing is concerning for Maccabi Tel Aviv as they prepare for an important upcoming fixture.
