It's up to them," Trump responded when asked about the matter. He also commented on the potential conflict with Iran, suggesting it could conclude after the upcoming midterm elections.
Trump emphasized Iran's strong desire for a deal, stating, "Iran wants to make a deal so badly. They're calling all the time, they want to make a deal." However, he cautioned that any agreement must be the "right deal" and one he would not compromise on if it were unfavorable.
In a separate interview segment with radio host O'Hanan Israel Sid Rosenberg, Trump sharply criticized conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, revealing he had cut ties with him months prior due to Carlson crossing a line. This came after Vice President J.D. Vance stated he considered Carlson a friend and would not abandon him over political disagreements.
Rosenberg highlighted the contrast between Vance's approach and Trump's, noting Trump's decision to end his long-standing association with Carlson, while Vance expressed loyalty to his friend despite political differences.
