Three Young Men Found Dead in Burned Car in Northern Israel

Translated & summarized from Al-Shams by baba
The story · English

Three young men, cousins from the town of Jaljulia, were found dead inside a burned car early Tuesday morning. The victims have been identified as 16-year-old Zein Odeh, 20-year-old Qassem Odeh, and their 22-year-old cousin Yahya Basimi. Their bodies were discovered in an open area between the towns of Jatt and Baqa al-Gharbiyya.

Initial police investigations suggest the three were murdered elsewhere and their bodies were then placed in the car, which was subsequently set on fire. The victims were all residents of Jaljulia, and their young ages have deeply shocked the local community.

Magen David Adom paramedics received a call at approximately 3:09 AM. Upon arriving at the scene and extinguishing the fire, they found three unresponsive men inside the vehicle with no pulse or breathing, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency medical technician Abd Bayadsa and paramedic Ahva Saadia described the scene: "When we arrived, we saw a car on fire. After extinguishing the fire, we noticed inside the car three unconscious men, without pulse and without breathing, and we had no choice but to pronounce them dead at the scene."

Police have launched a large-scale search of the area and are questioning potential witnesses. They stated that the incident is believed to be criminal in nature and that a significant police presence is at the scene collecting evidence. The police have vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
