Reports link Sterling Brown to Žalgiris after multiple roster changes
Žalgiris Kaunas is in the middle of reshaping its roster for the 2026-27 EuroLeague season, after announcing on Thursday that three players whose contracts had ended were leaving the club: Ignas Brazdeikis, Laurynas Birutis and Moses Wright. Brazdeikis is departing after two seasons, Birutis after one, and Wright after four.
At the same time, Serbian reports say another move could go the other way. Sterling Brown is said to be on his way out of Partizan Belgrade and could join Žalgiris. The Lithuanian club has already announced the signing of Savion Lee, a former Maccabi Tel Aviv player.
In Serbia, reports also say Partizan is interested in Eugene Omoruyi, amid other reports that Isaac Bonga is expected to leave the team. Omoruyi has been on Partizan’s radar for some time, and club officials reportedly believe they can now land him.
