The Israeli Air Force intercepted several rockets fired at an area in southern Lebanon where IDF forces were operating, the military said. According to the IDF spokesperson, some of the rockets landed near soldiers, but there were no casualties in the incident.
The military also said no sirens were activated, in line with its policy for the area. The statement did not specify exactly when the attack took place or who fired the rockets. It said only that the launches targeted the vicinity of IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.
The interception came amid continued fighting along the Israel-Lebanon border. The IDF has not reported any further damage from the rockets, and no injuries were recorded.
