Teenager Critically Wounded in Shooting Attack in Jaljulia
A 16-year-old boy sustained critical injuries after being shot in the town of Jaljulia on Friday night. Paramedics from Magen David Adom provided initial treatment to the severely wounded youth, whose body was penetrated by bullets. He was transported to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba for further medical care.
"Upon arriving at the scene, we were directed to the boy who was injured as a result of a violent incident, suffering penetrating wounds," stated a paramedic and a medic from the medical team. "We provided him with life-saving initial treatment and then urgently transferred him to the hospital in serious but stable condition."
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, the motive for which remains unknown. No arrests have been announced as of Saturday. The report notes ongoing concerns about security and a lack of deterrence for Arab citizens amidst escalating crime.
